David Hawley Schuler, 76, SPEEDED off on another journey April 5, 2015. He was born in Yakima March 8, 1939, to LeRoy and Evelyn Schuler. Dave graduated from Davis High School where he was an outstanding athlete. He attended YVC and the Cornish Art Institute of Seattle. Dave joined the Army Reserves and fulfilled his commitment. He was a member of the Realtors Association and retired from Coldwell Banker. Dave owned several restaurants in Yakima and in Seattle. He was a good cook. David was a mechanical genius. He loved to build anything. His passion was building race and vintage cars. He liked to race cars and boats. He would watch
Nascar racing and enjoyed all outdoor activities. He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Jo Deccio, his three sons, Roy (Wendy), Mike (Michelle), and Stephen Schuler, grandchildren Jean Marie Schuler, Roy and Nate Schuler, two sisters, Dallas Presley and Nancy Martin, and numerous relatives.

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday April 18, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church (Chapel). A reception will follow in the Activity Room #10. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Langevin Funeral Home.
